Porro and “immaterial house”: the 2011 collection
The limit between architecture and design perfectly disappears by the Porro booth at the Milan furnishing exhibition.
Porro closes its refined geometrical world in an opalescent white box, where walls consisting of notched plates in transparent polycarbonate isolating the visitor from the Exhibition noise, moving into an entirely white universe, discovering the new and welcoming 2011 proposals.
Inside, the exhibition moves on 4 levels connected by wide stairs to create a sort of stage: the style is uniform, designed thinking about the contrast between materials, geometric simplicity and primary colors.
Porro 2011 collection widens its shake, colours and finishes as to offer objects of desire perfectly matching modern taste and memories, function and beauty, reinterpreting the past in an intimate flowing future, where to live in harmony.
You can find Porro at Bredaquaranta, one of his authorised dealer, in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan).
How to choose the right sofa for any room
Choose the sofa is not just a matter of design and style but also a problem of space and function: that’s why the choice starts from the place where the sofa should be put.
For entrance and office, for example, it’s necessary not only comfort but also practicalness and small size.
For the living area instead you can have also a larger size sofa, it depends on the size of the room, bearing in mind that a sofa bed is always an ideal solution in case of any guests.
In a one-room-flat sizes are fundamental: it’s always good to go to a store with the plan of the room and get help on the placement of the sofa bed because once opened, you should still have the space to be able to walk around with comfort.

Italy celebrates his “birthday”: greetings!
On March 17th, 2011 Italy will turn 150 years old.
The country of sun, food and design, a bit bruised but still standing, has come a long way away from the March 17th , 1861 when the new parliament ratified the proclamation of the kingdom of Italy, with its capital in Turin.
In about two years, from spring 1859 to spring 1861, came from an Italy divided into seven states, the new kingdom: it began to spread the belief that a united Italy might be an element of stability for the whole continent.
We want to make lots of greetings on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy celebrating the primacy of Italian design with this special flag…made of furniture!

Poltrona “Moon” by Moroso: novità al Fuorisalone
